Essentially the role of the door supervisor is to assess whether people wishing to enter the premises is suitable. If they decide that they are not then they do not grant access to let them in.
If aggressive or disruptive behaviour occurs then it is the role of the door supervisor, or ‘bouncer’ as they are also known, to deal with the situation whilst minimising disruption.
If an event occurs where the police are involved then the door supervisors aide the police by offering any information helpful to the situation. All door supervisors adhere to the codes of conduct laid out by the police.
